Apple TV troubleshooting
When the TV cannot find the Mac, the iPhone cannot find the TV, or photos look wrong.
The TV cannot find my Mac
Make sure Aardy Photo Server is running on the Mac and both are on the same network. Try Find my Mac automatically again, or enter the address by hand. See Troubleshooting your network.
My iPhone cannot find the TV
Open Aardy on the TV first. Update the TV app if it is old. Check the phone's Local Network permission.
A change on the Mac has not shown up
In Settings, then Refresh, choose Reload Packs.
Photos look wrong or stale
Choose Clear Cache and Reload. The photos download again as they play, which can take a while.
The slideshow will not start by itself
The Mac starts it after the TV has been idle for a while, and never over an app in the Don't Interrupt list. A paused video counts as idle. See Settings.
I pressed Menu and nothing happened
If the Mac cannot be reached, press Menu a second time within 3 seconds to go to the Home screen.
