Choosing packs on this TV

Pick which packs play, in what order, and filter by year, place or tag.

A Mac decides which packs a TV is allowed to play. The TV then decides which of those play, and in what order.

Open the list

Press and hold the clickpad, then choose Packs. The list shows each pack with its position and whether it is on or off. A small photo icon marks a pack built from Photos albums on the Mac.

For each pack

Select a pack to open it.

  • Play on This TV turns it on or off here.
  • Move Up and Move Down change its place in the play order.
  • Only Show Photos From narrows the pack by Years, Places or Tags. Choose none to play them all, or Show All to clear a filter.

Mixing packs

When more than one pack is on, Play Selected Packs chooses how they play:

  • One After Another: one pack, then the next.
  • Mixed Together: photos from all of them. Choose Mix Balance (By Photo Count or Equal per Pack), Mix Order (Shuffle or By Date), and Music While Mixing (the first pack's music, or none).

What the Mac assigned

You cannot add a pack the Mac has not assigned to this TV. Assigning packs is done in the manager on the Mac. With packs sent from iPhones only, the phones manage this TV.

Saving

There is no Save button. Changes save when you leave Settings.
