Audio and music

Ambient sounds, your own music folders and playlists, and Apple Music.

Photos can have a soundtrack. Aardy offers three kinds.

Ambient sound

Ambient sounds such as rain, ocean and forest are chosen in a pack's settings. A single ambient loop plays forever, so there is no order to shuffle or repeat.

Your own music

  1. In Source Folders, open the Audio tab and add a music folder. Aardy imports M4A/AAC, MP3, WAV, AIFF, CAF and FLAC.
  2. Open a pack in the builder. The Audio tab on the left lists your tracks.
  3. Add tracks to the pack's playlist on the Playlist tab on the right, and put them in order.
  4. In the pack's settings, set Streaming music to Local playlist.

Music is played from where it already is. It is not copied. Shuffle, repeat and volume are on the Playlist tab.

Apple Music

Choose Apple Music under Streaming music, either in the pack's settings or per TV on the Apple TVs page.

Note: While a pack plays ambient sound or Apple Music, the playlist controls are off. The banner on the Playlist tab says why.
