The basics
What is Aardy?
Your photos and memories, playing on your Apple TV like a living photo frame.
Aardy turns your Apple TV into a photo frame for your own photos. Graduation day, the trip to the coast, the dog as a puppy: they drift across the big screen with gentle transitions, and each one can show the date and the place it was taken.
Aardy comes with a couple of built-in nature packs so the screen is never empty on day one. They are only a starting point. The point of Aardy is your family's pictures.
The pieces
- Aardy for Apple TV plays the slideshow. It costs $4.99, once, and works with Family Sharing.
- Aardy for iPhone is free. It sends albums from your phone to your TVs and works like a remote.
- Aardy for Mac is free. It holds a bigger library, watches your folders and Photos albums, and serves every TV in the house. Windows is coming soon.
You can start with just the Apple TV app and an iPhone. Add a Mac whenever you want more.
What it does
- Cinematic transitions, Live Photos, and captions with the date and place.
- Ambient sounds, or your own music, behind the photos.
- A clock and weather screen, one swipe away.
- Your photos stay on your home network. There is no Aardy account.
