Weather

Aardvark shows a clock and live weather widget — swipe down on the Apple TV remote for the current conditions and a 5-day forecast. Swipe left or right to page between cities; it closes on its own after 60 seconds.

  1. In the web admin, open Settings and find the Weather section. Search for one or more cities by name and add them; use the arrow buttons to reorder the list.
  2. Choose a temperature unit: °F, °C, °F and °C, or automatic by region, then click Save weather. TVs pick up the change within a few minutes.
  3. On each Apple TV, open the app's Settings → Weather and pick which city that TV shows first.

Weather needs no API key and no signup. Data comes from the Norwegian Meteorological Institute (MET Norway) and is refreshed automatically.

Weather data from MET Norway, licensed CC BY 4.0. City locations are resolved offline from a bundled GeoNames data set, so no third-party lookup service is contacted.
